ASU AND MAYO CLINIC SEEK PARTICIPANTS FOR MOBILE APP SYMPTOM TRACKING
ASU and the Mayo Clinic are seeking MPN cancer patients, ages 18 and up to participate in a research study. The purpose of the research is to determine the feasibility and preliminary effects of a mobile application-based health intervention on symptom burden (i.e., pain, fatigue, depression, anxiety, and sleep) and quality of life in Myeloproliferative Neoplasm patients. We ask that participants are willing to be randomized to one of four different groups for a total of eight weeks. These four groups will consist of a combination of printed educational materials and two different smartphone-based health applications. All participants will receive a FREE Fitbit for participating in the study and can earn up to $50.
