REPORT ON JAK2 PREVALENCE AMONG MPD PATIENTS IN INDIA

The Indian Journal of Medical Research recently published an article reporting the prevalence of the JAK2 mutation among polycythemia vera, essential thrombocythemia and myelofibrosis patients at a clinic in northern India. The JAK2 mutation, a gene marker for the Myeloproliferative disorders, was discovered in 2005.
